Alexey Skosyrev, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Kingdom of Bahrain, attended the meeting.
The meeting reviewed the Bahraini-Russian relations and means to further enhance them in various domains.
They discussed Bahrain's strategic development projects in the oil and gas sector, environmental initiatives aimed at reducing carbon emissions, enhancing progress programmes, and achieving energy security, sustainability, and climate protection.
Edelgeriev commended the two countries' ties and noted the kingdom’s efforts in protecting the environment.
He expressed keenness on continued cooperation in environmental and climate change aspects.
